Brington House
Set within a sensitive rural setting, this bespoke 10,000 sq ft home was thoughtfully redesigned to balance traditional character with the needs of modern living.
The Project
The clients originally purchased the site with planning permission already in place to convert buildings in an existing old agricultural logistics yard. Working collaboratively with the architect and owners, Aspects Lifespaces reconfigured and enhanced the plans to better reflect the way the family wanted to live.
Externally, carefully selected materials and detailing give the property a timeless, traditional feel in keeping with its surroundings. Internally, the house delivers a contemporary standard of comfort and efficiency, with full climate control, solar panels, battery storage and an A-rated SAP performance.
The Result
The completed home includes five ensuite bedrooms, a gym, bar and separate apartment. Beyond the house itself, the wider site was transformed. The team cleared, restored and enhanced the existing three-acre orchard with rare apple varieties, introduced indigenous planting and replanted new hedgerows to strengthen the local landscape.
Throughout the planning and build process, close engagement with the local community remained an important part of the project, reflecting our belief that every aspect should be considered, both within the home and beyond it.
